Summer Skates
LFHC Summer skates are intended to maintain and improve player skills for the upcoming Fall Season. Summer skates are also a way for players to meet other players that will be trying out for Scouts hockey in the Fall.
Ages
Summer skates are open to 8th graders, Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in the 2026-27 School year. (Any 8th grader wishing to skate, should join the Freshmen/Sophomore group.)
COST
Cost for each summer skate will be $40.
Practices
Summer skates are available two times per week. 30 players maximum per skate.

When
Monday & Wednesday:
6:30-7:30 pm and 7:45-8:45pm
Sessions will be divided into two groups: 8th grade/Freshmen/Sophomores and Juniors/Seniors. For weeks where we expect lower attendance due to holidays we will combine all grades. There are no skates from August 5-10 as Scouts players and coaches will be attending Shattuck for those who registered.
Where
New for summer 2026, all Summer skates will be held on full ice at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest!
